Basic Forensic Interviewing in Child Abuse Cases | Instructors: Adriana Frias, MSW

To improve the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases by teaching investigators interview techniques that gather the greatest amount of reliable information in a child-sensitive, developmentally appropriate, and legally defensible manner.

Intended Audience: This training is exclusively designed for professionals with duties that include interviewing suspected victims of child maltreatment, such as law enforcement, DCS professionals, professionals with the Office of Child Welfare Investigations, and Prosecutors.

Training Hours: 8 hrs.
