Objective: To improve the follow-up care for children who were involved in abuse cases by introducing non-investigators to:
- forensically-informed treatment
- the process of victimization
- information on the process of forensic interviewing and how reliable information is gathered in a child-sensitive, developmentally-appropriate, and legally-defensible manner.
- Please note: this course will NOT teach participants how to forensically interview children, as forensic interviewing should be done only by investigators.
Who Should Attend: Non-investigative professionals with duties that include or will include dealing with children who are involved in abuse cases.
