OBJECTIVE: To improve techniques for investigative interviews of children and to reduce additional trauma to the child victim. This course is the prerequisite to the 40-hour Advanced Forensic Investigation Training.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This training is exclusively for lead investigators of child maltreatment crimes, including detectives, DCS investigators, designated Forensic Interviewers, and Prosecutors.
Participants will have a one-hour lunch to be taken on their own.
Parking is available on the northwest side of Cypress. All parking on the south side is for FAC/Childhelp staff and clients.
