OBJECTIVE: To improve the investigation and prosecution of physical child abuse and child homicide cases by teaching investigators investigative, medical investigative, and charging best practices that are child-sensitive, developmentally-appropriate, and legally-defensible.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This training is exclusively designed for professionals with duties that include interviewing suspected victims of child maltreatment, such as law enforcement, DCS professionals, and Prosecutors.
Participants will have a one-hour lunch break on their own.
This course has been approved for 8 hours of AZPOST continuing education credit.
