OBJECTIVE: To improve the investigation and prosecution of sexual child abuse cases by teaching investigators investigative, medical investigative, and charging best practices that are child-sensitive, developmentally-appropriate, and legally-defensible.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This training is exclusively designed for professionals with duties that include interviewing suspected victims of child maltreatment, such as law enforcement, DCS professionals, dedicated forensic interviewers, professionals with the Office of Child Welfare Investigations, and Prosecutors.
