Come and learn about overseeing home visiting professionals in their work in Infant Toddler Mental Health principles and practices in the supervisor course!

The Introductory and advanced courses were offered for home visitors, early interventionists, developmental specialists, and others working with families with very young children.  These courses addressed development of secure attachment, effects of trauma/separation and loss on child and family functioning, support for school readiness, reduction of child maltreatment, and advanced concepts in this field.

The supervisor course specifically addresses the important, challenging, and rewarding supervisory relationship with home visiting professionals.

We will talk about

  • Emotional Availability
  • Parallel Process
  • Fear and Anxiety in Home Visiting
  • Reflection as a Developmental Process
  • Reflective Practice for YOU

The supervisor course requires prior attendance at the Introductory course and a level of supervisor responsibility in your position.
