Nearly two-thirds of reports made to the DCS Child Abuse Hotline are for neglect.
What is neglect, and what resources do we have in our community to help address it?
The Morrison Institute for Public Policy at ASU is conducting a study of child neglect in Arizona. The first part of this study has identified the prevalence of different types of neglect types reported to the Department of Child Safety. The second part of this study will seek to map the human service resources across Arizona and compare those to the types of neglect throughout the state.
By attending the Quad-City Community Conversation on Child Neglect, you will learn more about the Morrison Institute for Public Policy’s research findings and participate in a discussion about our community’s capacity to prevent and address child neglect in the Quad-City area.
Light refreshments will be served.
