This convening will focus on the identification, referral and treatment of infants and toddlers who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Trauma, or have been exposed to substances in utero. This event will engage participants in creating and implementing a standard of care for infants and toddlers who have been exposed to Adverse Childhood Experiences, Trauma, and/or substances in utero. The day will include a plenary session followed by breakout discussions in which participants will discuss bridging gaps in service and addressing barriers to the implementation of a standard of care.

 

Exhibitor logistics

Exhibitors should arrive between 6:30am – 7:30am on the day of the event to set up their exhibit tables. Participant registration and breakfast will go from 7:30am – 8:30am, and the program will begin at 8:30am. The event will conclude at 4:00pm. Exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in all plenary and breakout sessions.

 

Exhibitor materials

All event participants will receive a flash drive with handouts and materials that are relevant to professionals who work with infants, toddlers and their families. All exhibitors will have the opportunity to include handouts and materials on this flash drive. These materials must be emailed to Claire Louge at Claire@pcaaz.org by Friday, September 13 to be included on the flash drive.

 

Who will be in attendance?

We will welcome 300+ professionals from across Arizona in the fields of early intervention, health, and social work, including nurses, medical doctors, behavioral health practitioners, social workers, infant mental health specialists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, feeding specialists, early childhood home visitors, DCS professionals, AZEIP professionals, and others who work with infants, toddlers and their families.

 

What is the Cost?

The cost of registration for an exhibit table is $100/table, which includes breakfast and lunch for one person. Credit card payment will be taken on the following page. If you need to pay by purchase order or some other method, please contact Claire@pcaaz.org.

 

Hotel Scholarships Available

We are offering hotel scholarships for the night of Tuesday, September 24 to any exhibitor or attendee who works more than 50 miles from the DoubleTree Phoenix Tempe, located 2100 S Priest Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282. Hotel scholarships will be offered until Thursday, August 22. Anyone who registers for this event after that date will not be eligible to receive a hotel scholarship.
